This tag is not correlated with information about individual users.

We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas or engagement with content. We track what (anonymized) individual users read and how they scroll through our pages in order to assess how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. Any individual tracking done by conversion rate optimization software is anonymized and can not be connected to any specific user.

Our conversion rate optimization software may track what individual (anonymized) users read on our site. We don't do this because we are interested in your specific session but rather how well each page and piece of content performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. We track search terms entered in Search function as one of many measures of what interests our users. But we don’t track which terms any particular user enters. creates aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for advertisers, sponsors and partners. This allows our merchants to advertise more effectively, and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent to their needs. Because we only  track the usage patterns of anonymized individual users, an advertiser or sponsor will never know that a specific user clicked their ad. If you choose to make a purchase on their site, they will be able to see that it was us that referred you to them. But by that time you have voluntarily identified yourself to that merchant. We will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
